Shopify Flow Capabilities

Our integration unlocks powerful automation capabilities for your inventory management. By connecting Stock Take to Shopify Flow, you can trigger workflows based on inventory events and generate detailed reports automatically.

Triggers

• Stock Take Complete: This trigger initiates a workflow immediately after a stock take is finalized and inventory adjustments have been made. It exposes key data such as:
  • Location details
  • Stock take name
  • Ad-hoc adjustment status

Actions: Generate Reports

You can automatically generate CSV reports as part of your flow. This is perfect for archiving data or syncing with external systems. Available report actions include:

• Adjustment Reports: View exactly what inventory changes were made.
• Current Available Stock: Get a snapshot of stock levels at the time.
• Stock Take Counts: Access the raw count data.
• Scans Information: Detailed logs of individual item scans.

These report actions will generate a one time URL where you can download the CSV file or provide send to other integration platforms that you might be using. Be aware this link only lasts 2 hours from the time its generated.

Integrating with ERPs and Third-Party Systems

One of the most powerful features is the ability to integrate with external systems like ERPs.

1. Generate Download URL: The report actions provide a secure, temporary URL (valid for 2 hours) to download the CSV report.
2. HTTP Request: Use Shopify Flow's built-in HTTP action to fetch the data from the URL or send the download url to other systems.
3. Send Data: Forward this CSV data directly to your ERP via API, or email the file to stakeholders automatically.

This ensures your external systems are always in sync with your physical inventory counts without manual data entry.

Workflow Possibilities

Beyond reporting and ERP integration, the Stock Take Complete trigger opens up a world of possibilities using standard Shopify Flow actions:

• Notifications: Send an email or notification to your store managers, or stock controllers immediately when a stock take is finished.
• Task Management: Automatically create a task for your finance team to review the adjustments.
• Data Integrations: Save & send the report directly to in other systems such as ERPs like Netsuite, or any other external systems that you use and want to track stock in.
